Kerr Acoustic has been invited to Oslo Hifi Centre to formally introduce their K102 model to the Norwegian market
K300 mk.3 awarded 96% by Stereo Plus magazine, Norway
The K300 was recently reviewed by respected Norwegian journalist Håvard Holmedal for Stereo Plus magazine, and earned a score of 96% in addition to receiving a 5-star ‘Specially Recommended’ award.
"... You hardly get closer to the core of Sivert Høyem's voice than you do with a set of Kerr Acoustic K300 successfully placed and with a hi-fi system that is detailed and energetic enough to bring the music to life. A hypnotic experience! .. “
This coincides with our new partnership with Multirom, our exclusive distributor in Norway who we are delighted to be working with.
“… I have to admit I fell head over heels for this speaker's open, airy precision, the impressive bass and its large holographic sound image… It is almost perfectly balanced, open and detailed, plays perfectly on almost all types of music, and is easy to place. Then there is not much more we can demand! .. “
New K320 custom isolation podiums from Townshend Audio
We’re delighted to unveil a brand new partnering podium for the K320 from Townshend Audio.
Townshend’s award-winning seismic isolation podiums are truly unique in the way that they work to interrupt the acoustic connection between the loudspeaker and the floor.
Using 4 of their captive load cells per podium, they prevent any mechanical energy transferring from the loudspeaker into the surrounding environment, allowing users to uncover a new level of sonic performance from their loudspeakers. With all unwanted vibration being effectively managed and kept out of the floor, sonic performance is improved across the entire audible band - an effect that has to be experienced to be believed.
While Townshend offer an array of different sized de-coupling podiums, the custom K320 model allows for the optimally-sized baseplate to be bolted to the cabinet itself, using the threaded inserts that would normally be used for spikes. This greatly helps to improve stability, and guarantees a secure marriage between loudspeaker and podium.

David Price puts six of the best mid-priced floor-standers head-to-head in the October issue of Hi-Fi Choice magazine, and awards first place to the Kerr Acoustic K320 mk.3.
"A highly composed and controlled sound, yet one with firecracker dynamics and oodles of guts and glory on dynamic crescendos"

David Price reviews the K320 mk.3 for Stereonet
The Kerr Kerr Acoustic K320 earns an ‘Applause Award’ from the venerable Davie Price for Stereonet.
“Such transient speed was a joy to behold with the leading edges of heavily struck snares or strummed electric guitars and worked hand-in-glove with the speaker's excellent dynamics. The thwack of percussion was a wonderfully physical sensation”

“A Remarkable Achievement” - Jason Kennedy reviews the K320 mk.3, and presents them with an Editors Choice award
“The K320 responds with enthusiasm if you wind up the volume, Leifur James’ Red Sea is a slow builder but by the time things got going the level had reached a point I don’t often go to, yet the sound remained clean and calm as the sound filled the room and produced a huge vista that you could almost bathe in”
“With its transmission line loading, minimal styling and slim profile the K320 might be mistaken for a PMC, but the tonal balance is richer and more relaxed, the bass more generous and the treble a shade sweeter. And I like sweet treble as long as it reveals plenty of detail and projects a strong image whilst keeping the timing on the ball. All of which are the case here”
